MaterialNEXT hosted by TATA STEEL Advanced Material Research Centre in collaboration with E-Cell IIT Madras is a chance for the budding researcher, technology developer and enthusiasts in this field to propose, produce and present their solution model to existing industrial challenges to experts.

Phases
Registration begins until 12th Jan’19.
Participants in a team of 2 to 3 have to submit their proposals in the form of a PDF/Poster. These will be evaluated by the experts under certain criterion. Selected teams would be invited for a conference to discuss more with their assigned mentors to launch into next level.
Launch
28 December 2018
1-to-1 session between selected teams and mentors assigned.
The selected teams will start working on their proposals under the constant guidance of mentors using available facilities, as per plan.
Conference
19 January 2019
Teams get 8 weeks’ time to work on their proposals.
All the performing teams will present their solutions in a competitive evaluation by eminent panels of judges and top five teams will move to the final round.
Evaluation
16 March 2019
Teams get 4 weeks’ time to prepare for the finale.
After reiterating on their solutions with feedback received during the evaluation phase, top five teams will compete in the grand finale to decide the winner &challenges.
